Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and heat-treating equipment
Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and mechanical components
Conduct welding and light fabrication to maintain and modify equipment as needed
Maintain furnaces, quench tanks, cooling systems, and other heat treating machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or heat treating environment
Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, mechanical systems, and welding/fabrication
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety protocols
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in high-temperature environments, and operate industrial tools/equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with furnace or heat treating equipment maintenance
Basic electrical troubleshooting (a plus)
Forklift or crane certification
