Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the Yellawood brand Pressure‑Treated Pine, is seeking forklift operators for full‑time 2nd and 3rd shift roles. This position offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Summary : Drives an industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
Keeps record of inventory.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must have previous forklift experience.
Lumber experience a plus!
