You will conduct orbital analysis and data interpretation to monitor and track satellite positions, trajectories, and potential collisions. You will analyze and identify anomalies in satellite behavior and participate in meetings and presentations to brief clients and management on orbital analysis findings.

Qualifications
Experience with a scripting language such as Shell, Perl, or Python
Knowledge of space surveillance and tracking systems such as radar and optical sensors
Ability to compile and analyze statistics based on space object population
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience with space, engineering, or orbital analytics, or:
• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience, or • Master's degree and 4+ years of experience with space, engineering, or orbital analytics
Nice If You Have
Experience with space and orbital mechanics and data analysis
Ability to identify and implement process improvements for more efficient and accurate analysis
Ability to use specialized software and tools to perform orbital calculations and predictions
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
