The Job:

Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues.

Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as necessary.

Participate in the improvements of site equipment to maximize productivity.

Assist with major repairs/rebuilds on facility and other equipment.

Drive project activities.

Maintain, modify and troubleshoot a variety of electrical and electronic devices.

Provide training and technical support to team members.

Exercise necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and safety of others.

Maintain clean and orderly work area according to the 5S principles.

Work in a team environment.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all assigned work orders.

Uphold 5S standards.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

The Person:

An Industrial Maintenance diploma or Technical Certificate plus 5 years’ experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read complex electrical/mechanical prints and schematics.

Full understanding of computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Familiarity with most industrial software applications (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Honeywell, etc.) is a plus.

Great mechanical and electrical understanding.

Working knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.

A strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Good communication skills.
