Job Title: Tube Laser Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our custom metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high‑quality metal components. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Operate Tube Laser to cut and shape metal parts according to specifications.
Set up and calibrate laser equipment for various cutting and fabrication tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machines to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with standards.
Handle raw materials and finished products safely, including operating forklifts or overhead cranes if needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Essential Skills
Experience in laser operation.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Ability to perform troubleshooting on laser machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with similar laser systems.
Knowledge of nesting software and optimization techniques.
Basic computer skills for machine interface.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $28.00/hr.
