Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Assist customers and maintain seafood display cases.
Set up, maintain, clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
Ensure seafood is presented at the correct temperature and in a safe, sanitary condition.
Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient store environment.
Under direct supervision, perform any additional tasks as needed to support store operations.
Qualifications
Read and write proficiently in Spanish and English.
Interact effectively with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information clearly in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
Apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods. The environment is fast‑paced, requiring frequent walking, standing, and visual and auditory awareness.
Certifications Required Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
