Description Material Handler – 3rd Shift / Manejador(a) de Materiales – 3er Turno
About The Role As a Material Handler, you’ll support the flow of materials across the plant by unloading shipments, documenting and sorting incoming parts, keeping inventory updated, and preparing weekly outbound shipments for Midwest distribution. Como Manejador(a) de Materiales, apoyarás el movimiento de materiales en la planta descargando envíos, documentando y clasificando piezas recibidas, manteniendo el inventario actualizado y preparando los envíos semanales para la distribución en el Medio Oeste.
Requirements
Has 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; receiving experience is a plus.
Is forklift‑certified and confident operating material‑handling equipment.
Is comfortable using computers and can learn SAP to locate and track parts.
Can stay organized while juggling multiple tasks—unloading trucks, sorting materials, and pulling inventory.
Pays strong attention to detail and keeps documentation accurate.
Can work the scheduled 3rd shift consistently.
Maintains a clean driving record to operate the company truck when needed.
Candidato(a) Ideal
Tenga 2+ años de experiencia en un entorno de manufactura; experiencia en recibimiento es un plus.

What You’ll Do
Receive materials, review packing slips, and maintain accurate records.
Unload incoming trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line.
Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments; confirm customer shipping and delivery reports.
Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory.
Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when materials need replenishment.
Assist other Material Handlers as needed.
Report issues to the Supervisor immediately.
Follow all environmental, safety, and company policies.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Responsabilidades
Recibir materiales, revisar recibos y mantener registros precisos.
Descargar camiones entrantes, clasificar piezas y colocarlas en la línea de soldadura.
Preparar y cargar los envíos semanales del Medio Oeste; confirmar informes de envío y entrega.
Usar SAP para localizar, recuperar y rastrear inventario.
Mantener el inventario actualizado y notificar a Compras cuando se necesiten más piezas.
Apoyar a otros Manejadores de Materiales según sea necesario.
Reportar problemas al/a la Supervisor(a) inmediatamente.
Cumplir con todas las políticas ambientales, de seguridad y de la empresa.
Mantener asistencia regular y confiable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic computer literacy.
Ability to read, write, and understand work orders and blueprints.
Basic math and measuring skills.
Forklift operation (certification required).
Ability to organize receiving paperwork and multitask.
Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements
Sit 25% of the time and walk 75%; bending, twisting, and lifting required.
Lift up to 50 lbs (25% of the time).
Use chain hoists, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
Wear required PPE: steel‑toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.
