Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high‑power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). What You Will Be Doing: We are looking for a Fusion Technician to assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies on our in‑house production lines. You will build hardware that powers Helion’s prototype and production fusion machines and have a direct impact on Helion’s ability to build fusion machines and deliver clean energy to the world. As a fusion technician, you will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA location.

You Will:

Assemble critical mechanical and electrical assemblies per engineering work instructions

Use electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical hand tools

Perform essential quality control inspections

Partner with a collaborative team of technicians, material handlers, and engineers to meet daily targets

Communicate with your Lead and Supervisor on a daily basis

Rebuild and re‑test defective assemblies

Complete specialized projects to help us build our fusion generator

Comprehend and interpret work instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Required Skills:

1+ years of work experience

Experience working in a fast‑paced environment and hitting daily/weekly goals

Experience reading and adhering to instructions (i.e. work instructions, procedures, or processes)

Physical ability to squat, reach, climb, and lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Able to work Monday‑Friday first shift operating from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or second shift from 2:00 pm-10:30 pm

Total Compensation and Benefits Helion’s compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity—ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.

This is an exempt salaried role.

Annual Base Pay: $25 - $29 USD

Our total compensation package includes benefits, including but not limited to:
