Lead Mobile Equipment Operator

Job Summary Under the direction of the supervisor, the Lead Mobile Equipment Operator provides training, guidance and direction to assigned employees in an efficient, clean, safe and cost‑effective manner to achieve the goals and key performance metrics in line with the organization's objectives. You will operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks, overhead cranes, track mobiles, switch engines, and/or yard vehicles to move materials and products between workstations and receiving and storage locations.
Qualifications and Skills
Hard Skills
Experience: Up to 4 Years
Certifications: Applicable Equipment Certification from Arcosa
Technical Skills: Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane, combi‑lift, scissor lift, Mi‑Jacks, Genie lift, and track mobile
Education: High School Diploma or GED

Duties and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Operate lift truck to move material
Spot for mobile crane
Operate scissor lift
Operate track mobile
Operate mobile crane for complex loading of finished product
Operate 80‑ton for plate steel and move sections (Outside: 100%)
Tarp sections
Train and assure safety of all team members
Lead team by assigning tasks
Operate all other mobile equipment on property
Assist in completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
Maintain and improve quality
Maintain attendance within acceptable standards
Safety Activities
Be aware of and observe all safety practices
Know and follow all safety rules and procedures
Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned
