Role Overview
Ensure fulfillment of all hardware from NPI through the production life cycle for all US Power Businesses. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision‑making. Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the business fulfillment process to drive on‑time delivery of all products. Problem solve and reduce supplier delinquency, preventing red work orders from affecting shop output. Drive recovery efforts to supplier Genba based on data pareto, ensuring short‑term counter‑measures and long‑term problem‑solving via FLIGHT DECK tools. Ensure source changes follow the change‑management process to eliminate supply risk and prioritize large changes in partnership with the Commercial team to drive cost reductions. Partner with the businesses to execute NPI by leading the NPI team and process, ensuring commercial strategies unlock required resources. Use FLIGHT DECK to drive clarity and improvements in daily and weekly management, ensuring business needs are met. Drive supplier relationships by working with the Commercial Team, Business, NPI, and engineering teams to lead reviews and meet GE business needs. Develop expertise within the function, influencing policy and ensuring delivery within own function and across others. Lead others to find creative solutions to complex problems, evaluating information quality, and using multiple internal and external resources to arrive at decisions. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (or high school diploma/GED with at least 14 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally Sourcing and Procurement). Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally Sourcing and Procurement. Preferred Qualifications
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Negotiation and strategy development experience. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects with planning, marketing, and execution. Established project management skills. Experience in Sourcing, Shop Operations, or Production Control. Manufacturing experience in Aerospace or Automotive a plus. Humility: respectful, inclusive, good listener, learns from past. Transparency: candid in feedback, shares solutions, helps grow others. Focus: safety first, prioritizes work, measures success by the customer, continuously improves. Additional Information
