Translate product strategy and epics into well‑defined user stories and a prioritized backlog that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. Act as the customer advocate throughout agile ceremonies, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and understood. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric SaaS payroll solutions. Oversee backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness to drive smooth and timely product delivery. Lead product demos, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate for continuous improvement. Facilitate effective cross‑functional communication to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Partner with implementation and support teams to gather post‑launch feedback and promptly address issues or enhancements. Evaluate technical and functional trade‑offs to meet the needs of enterprise‑level payroll customers, incorporating them into product requirements.
Possess a deep understanding of end‑to‑end U.S. payroll processes—including earnings, deductions, taxes, retro pay, garnishments, general ledger integration, and direct deposits. Interpret and translate U.S. federal, state, and local payroll compliance laws—including taxation, wage and hour regulations, and year‑end reporting (W‑2, 1099, etc.)—into system requirements.
Salary: $79,310 – $130,295 per year.
