We are seeking an experienced
Plant Manager
to lead manufacturing operations at our window and door production facility. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with deep experience in window and door assembly operations, who understands how to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across high‑volume manufacturing environments.
The Plant Manager will have full responsibility for plant performance, including safety, production, quality, P&L, and team leadership. This individual will analyze every stage of the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment while meeting delivery and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day plant operations, including production planning, staffing, budgets, inventory, and throughput
Oversee window and door assembly operations, including fabrication, glazing, finishing, and packaging
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction
Analyze production metrics, labor efficiency, scrap, and inventory to identify and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment
Develop, coach, and hold accountable supervisors and production teams
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership to optimize plant performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
6+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with direct experience in window and door manufacturing strongly preferred
Proven leadership experience managing assembly‑based manufacturing operations
Strong understanding of production flow, labor planning, materials management, and continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Base Pay Range
$150,000.00/yr – $250,000.00/yr
Location: New England (Chelsea, MA)
