The Role Learn and Explore Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Elementary School Assistant Teacher
to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year! Assistant Teachers play a key role in supporting classroom instruction, helping to create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment for our students.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Lead Teacher to reinforce lessons, guide small groups, provide individualized support, and help ensure that classroom activities run smoothly. You’ll assist with core subjects—reading, writing, math, science, and social studies—and help bring our hands‑on, multidisciplinary approach to life. Our project‑based, integrated curriculum encourages students to explore, think creatively, and connect their learning to real‑world ideas.

What’s Expected
Know each student well and understand their developmental and learning needs.
Understand the content and plan instruction that supports growth for all learners.
Deliver engaging, challenging lessons aligned to learning standards.
Create a supportive, dynamic classroom environment that fosters achievement.
Use a variety of assessments to track progress and adjust instruction.
Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate with families, co‑teachers, and support staff.
Set goals and pursue continuous professional growth.
Educational Background & Experience
Bachelor’s (or Associate’s) degree in Education or a related field, GPA 3.0+
One year of classroom experience preferred
Passion for child development and student well‑being
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass all required background checks
Familiarity with educational technology tools
Ability to plan, organize, and support daily learning activities
Proven commitment to making student well‑being the top priority
Compensation Our salaries are highly competitive and reflect each candidate’s skills and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package. Starting Assistant Teacher salaries range from
$45,000–$55,000 , depending on experience. Teachers receive a laptop and dedicated funds for classroom supplies and materials.
