The Opportunity
Under direct supervision, the
Meat Clerk
provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists customers, cleans shelves, and displays cases. Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays. Works with customers to take special orders as well as with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card
or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
