Must be able to work either 1st or 3rd shift, with the ability for an on‑call rotation.
Hourly rate is dependent on experience, range $25-$30 per hour estimated. Salary can be negotiated.
Essential Functions
Perform work on manufacturing systems and processes in a timely, safe and efficient manner to attain production goals.
Perform work on support systems and conduct preventative and predictive maintenance.
Work on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Follow rules and work requirements pertaining to PPE, Lock Out-Tag Out, Hot Work Permits and Confined Space Entry.
Respond to off‑shift mechanical problems or emergencies within a reasonable time and provide troubleshooting and support as needed.
Support manufacturing process improvements, provide forklift or material handling support as required.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Perform some facility repairs and maintenance.
Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Three to five years of previous industrial maintenance experience and strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Prefer some experience welding and/or pipefitting.
Some experience with mechanical, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems preferred.
Must be able to repair/rebuild, maintain or service pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, etc.
Must have basic knowledge of boiler systems, HVAC systems, chillers, and steam generation.
Must be able to be contacted by telephone off hours, weekends or holidays.
Must maintain forklift certification, and required safety training and PPE/CGMP equipment at all times.
HS Diploma or GED; preferred Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant training.
