Responsibilities
Assist in proper store maintenance, focusing on the Produce Department.
Help customers on the store floor as needed.
Properly bag groceries and carry them out for customers when requested.
Maintain a clean and safe store environment at all times.
Retrieve and manage store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, check‑stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English.
Communicate with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds; frequently up to 45 pounds; regularly up to 25 pounds.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
