Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience effectively operating heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data.
Strong communication skills.
A commitment to safety at all times.
Responsibilities
Daily proper inspections to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Operating equipment safely and efficiently to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Work closely with management and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed to the highest level of quality.
Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
Ability to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects as needed.
Perform various activities including but not limited to road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, road surface maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
