Responsibilities
Comply with all company policies, programs, and directives.
Achieve Deli Clerk certification through orientation and ongoing training.
Deliver excellent guest service: greet, assist, and respond to guest needs.
Maintain good relationships with other departments to ensure smooth flow of products and service.
Possess knowledge of basic Deli processes: taking orders, stocking, production, frying, organizing, and cleaning.
Fill, rotate, arrange, and merchandise displays and cases; display products with proper labeling.
Maintain accurate department records and support department security.
Maintain a clean environment: sweep, mop, keep equipment sanitized, maintain refrigeration.
Promote morale and respectful communication within department and store.
Utilize equipment safely after proper training.
Ensure company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Food Handlers Certificate.
Minimum age 18.
Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Strong integrity, positive attitude, mission‑driven, and self‑directed.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs; perform light physical tasks (walking, standing, carrying).
Physical & Job Demands Occasional 0–25% lifting 25–50 lbs, 25–75% lifting 51+ lbs; standing and walking most of shift; manual dexterity required for handling equipment and merchandise.
