Material Handler Responsibilities:
Pick orders from inventory
Report any food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
Unload, move and store materials between the production line, storage and shipping/receiving ensuring that there is no stoppage in the production line
Operate forklift to move materials as appropriate
Store and stack materials according to company standards
Drive company vehicle to transport materials between the production facility and relevant warehouse(s)
Identify and verify parts
Adhere to food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications
Requirements for Material Handler:
High School Diploma or GED
At least two years in a warehouse/production environment preferred
Valid WI driver's license (required for forklift operation)
Previous forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain a forklift license
Able to remain on feet for extended period of time
Able to use machines and software to track inventory along with good organizational and time management skills
Able to process and follow written and spoken instructions
