Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, whether in person or over the phone.

Identify customer needs and accurately look up required automotive parts using catalogs and computer systems.

Provide knowledgeable recommendations and suggest additional parts or accessories that customers may need.

Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and pricing.

Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts counter and storage area.

Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and counting parts.

Build rapport with customers, encouraging repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Collaborate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in automotive parts sales.

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.

Familiarity with parts catalog software and dealership management systems is a plus.

Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.
