Overview The Fresh Mark facility in Canton, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for 2nd and 3rd Shifts. Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.

Wage And Benefits

Starting labor rate of $30.15 an hour

Shift differential of $1.50

Key Accountabilities

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and straightedges.

Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques, monitoring compliance.

Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Able to work in a refrigerated environment.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Minimum Requirements

A successful candidate will be mechanically inclined

Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 40lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.

Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance

Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
