Construction Estimator
to join their team in El Paso, Texas. This role will play a key part in pricing, planning, and preconstruction efforts for multifamily projects, working closely with leadership, project managers, and vendors.
What You’ll Do as the Construction Estimator
Lead quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bid reviews, and scope development for multifamily projects.
Analyze project drawings, specs, and requirements to create accurate estimates and budgets.
Assist in value engineering, vendor selection, and contract preparation.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
Maintain pricing databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
Help prepare proposals, preconstruction deliverables, and internal reports.
Must-Haves as the Construction Estimator
5 to 10 years of experience estimating multifamily residential projects.
Proven ability to manage full-cycle estimating from concept through GMP.
Proficiency in Procore, AutoCAD, or other industry-standard estimating and takeoff software.
Strong attention to detail, cost control acumen, and vendor relationship management.
Solid understanding of vertical construction methods and multifamily-specific requirements.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Nice-to-Haves as the Construction Estimator
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Experience with developer-led or design-build project teams.
Knowledge of current cost trends in the Texas and New Mexico multifamily markets.
