Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to the community.
Assist customers in the Bulk Deli, including answering questions and providing product information.
Clean, fill, and rotate cheese and deli displays throughout the shift.
Maintain the cleanliness of the department during the shift.
Replenish product in the morning shift under direction of the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager.
Assist customers throughout the entire shift in a friendly and courteous manner.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently lift up to 45 lb, and occasionally lift up to 60 lb.
Preferred Skills
Basic PC and Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
Physical Requirements
Lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling typical of a fast‑paced grocery store environment.

Work Schedule The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts: a morning shift and an additional shift. Specific shift details are provided by the manager.
