Position Hours Monday‑Friday 11 AM‑7:30 PM

Position Responsibilities

Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from inter‑plant and outside facilities.

Verifies the accuracy of any transactions and compares it to what was actually produced, including physical inspection of goods to validate condition.

Operates manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, put away and replenish materials throughout the facility and load onto transportation vehicles.

Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders.

Ensures correct pallets are used and built based on EXACTA and Customer supplier criteria.

Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required.

Troubleshoots and communicates problems to ensure timely turnover in the shipping/sortation area.

Completes a Pre‑Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging, and cleaning.

Maintains a clean work environment, including sorting pallets, wrapping stacked cardboard on pallets, and communicating any quality changes.

Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).

Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Some experience in a general warehouse environment preferred.

Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook).

Forktruck certification mandatory after 90 days.

Effective communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.

Must obtain a Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) License.

Mechanical Aptitude.

Medium physical effort required.

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum and frequently lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.

Ability to stand for several hours daily.

Problem‑solving ability.

Attention to detail.

Pay Range The anticipated hourly range for this position is

$16.00 to $26.00 . Exact hourly rate depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to the hourly rate, the position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
