Overview
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures that the patient experience is positive and seamless by managing front desk operations and workflows. This is an onsite, full-time position in Women\'s Health, Clinical Innovation Center. Responsibilities
Greet, instruct, direct and schedule patients and visitors. Perform clerical duties for physicians and clinic staff. Retrieve insurance and patient information; provide forms for tests or interoffice communications; secure signatures as needed. Enter new and established patient information into the computer. Answer incoming calls and set appointments; dispatch messages and/or calls for all employees. Monitor and revise physician schedules as appropriate. Perform patient care activities within the scope of data entry/processing and patient account functions. Establish payment plans and collect payments. Answer questions on insurance claims, obtaining disability insurance benefits, home health care, medical equipment, surgical care, medical records and patient referrals. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience Preferred: One year of applicable medical office experience New hires must attend Clinic Core Front Desk Training through Clinical Education. All new hires are hired into this role. Key Benefits
