Shift:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Overtime available as needed (with notice).
Summary Ricoh is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to join our Field Distribution team. This role is a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse labor. Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, bending, lifting, wrapping pallets, and moving equipment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a minimum of 6 months forklift experience.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Perform warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
Use RF scanners to accurately process inbound, outbound, and internal orders.
Inspect all inbound and outbound freight for accuracy and damage; document appropriately.
Perform cycle counts and quality assurance inspections to maintain inventory accuracy.
Maintain warehouse organization, operational safety, and 5S standards.
Load and unload LTL, TL trailers, and vans, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues. Perform C-TPAT compliance inspections for international shipments.
Cross-train to provide backup support for other warehouse functions as needed.
Complete all tasks according to standard work instructions and departmental guidelines.
Promote a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year on stand-up (Reach, Dock stocker) forklifts.
Forklift certification for Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-down forklifts required.
RF scanner experience required.
Excellent math, reading, and writing skills.
Physically capable of walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods (team lifts for items over 50 lbs).
Ability to take direction, multi-task, and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
