Woodyard Loader Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Lignetics
Job Type: Full‑time
Shift Schedule: 2 pm – 10:30 pm
Salary: $19.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential
Responsibilities
Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days, ensuring proper blend and moisture content.
Receive and separate incoming loads of raw materials by species.
Inspect quality of raw material to standard and notify plant leadership of any defects.
Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements.
Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance.
Communicate with co‑workers regarding status of workflow.
Perform other accountabilities as required.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
One to two years of loader operation experience in an industrial setting highly preferred.
Good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi‑task.
Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb on a repetitive basis and stand/sit for long periods.
Comfortable climbing up and down stairs to get in and out of loader, no fear of confined spaces or heights.
Simple math calculations, basic tool use, and mechanical aptitude in conducting loader maintenance.
