Payden & Rygel The RFP Coordinator will be part of the existing RFP team responsible for completing RFPs, due diligence questionnaires and client requests as well as consultant databases for global fixed income and equity mandates. The individual will work closely with portfolio managers, strategists and client service teams and gain insight into all areas of the business.

Base Pay Range $85,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr

Job Responsibilities

Respond to new business RFPs and DDQs for both new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy, compelling content, and high-quality documents tailored to client requirements.

Collect data to effectively respond to quantitative queries.

Manage internal processes and deadlines across multiple contributing teams.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, client service, investments, legal, compliance, and administration groups.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the firm’s strategies and product offerings.

Maintain and update responses to standard language within content libraries and consultant databases to ensure consistency of messaging and positioning across channels and regions.

Identify, elevate, and implement process improvements to drive enhancements to the RFP process.

Qualifications

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple deadlines, with strong attention to detail and solid writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Excellent communication skills, interacting professionally at all levels internally and externally.

Understanding of basic investment management concepts.

Working knowledge of the asset management industry.

Related work experience preferred but not required; open to strong candidates seeking career advancement or returning from an extended career break.

Highly proficient in Excel and Word.

Experience using Qvidian, eVestment, Callan, Mercer, and other databases is a plus.

Understanding of SQL.
