Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Forklift Operators in Morris, Illinois.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour
Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour for night shift and up to $2.75 per hour more for earned incentives
Schedule: Sunday/Monday and Thursday/Friday (Split Schedule) 5:00 pm – 3:30 am
Job Duties We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply‑chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Products handled: food products. Equipment: sit‑down forklift.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work within a diverse work environment
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual with a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work using health and safety methods
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
Perform other duties as assigned
