SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Planner & Scheduler position is responsible for supporting the time management of EPC LNG projects, typically valued at several billion dollars and spanning up to five years in duration. The role involves developing and maintaining EPC schedules, analyzing contractors' monthly schedules—including progress assessments—and creating project statistics and KPI dashboards using Power BI. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop AACE Level 1 through level 3 schedules for FEED and EPC projects. Review and analyze contractors' Progress /Earned Value reports. Review and analyze contractors' monthly schedule updates. Integrate multiple schedules into a Master Project Schedule (MPS) utilizing Primavera P6. Update schedules and perform critical path and variance analysis. Analyze potential change orders and their impact on project schedule. Gather and analyze information to prepare status reports. Develop schedule and progress dashboards utilizing Power BI. On‑site visits to analyze construction progress including quantity verification. Identify adverse trends based on project performance. Facilitate and participate in schedule reviews. Prepare formal presentation related to project status. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in construction management, and/or Engineering. 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience across EPC, commissioning, and startup phases of Major Oil & Gas/Power/LNG projects. Must be Advanced user of Primavera P6 including cost, resources, and quantity loading. Working knowledge of Power BI. Good understating of planning and scheduling fundamentals such as CPM method, floats, constraints, relationship types. Knowledge of Engineering and Construction techniques and relationships (logic) between various project phases as well as activities dependencies. Knowledge of project controls techniques for full project life cycle executions. Ability to perform Earned Value calculations/analysis for EPC projects. Strong analytical skills, and advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and presentations. Advanced user of MS Excel. Good understating of MS PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to travel to job site in Brownsville, TX periodically. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Acumen Fuse and Acumen Risk is a plus. Experience with Milestone Professional is a plus. Advanced user of Power BI. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. The position is primarily sedentary; the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary. Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions. While performing the duties of this role, the incumbent may be required to talk or hear. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
