Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, repair, and change out tooling on machines and equipment used in molding lead and nylon threads.
Inspect finished products for quality using blueprints, measuring equipment, and gauges.
Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety rules.
Work under general supervision and perform tasks of equal or lower classification as required.
Perform any other duties as may be required.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of ten hours.
Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
Ability to perform highly repetitive work.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lb cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet. Cartons are lifted from a height of 6” to 48” at a rate of approximately 40 per hour.
Ability to push loaded skids using a force of 20 lbs over a distance of 6 feet periodically.
