Facilities Technician, Plant Facilities Department, Evenings, Baptist Medical Center
Maintenance Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of hospital facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and medical equipment to meet regulatory standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday
Responsibilities
General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems required to support healthcare buildings.
Performs preventive maintenance as assigned.
Takes readings and keeps records. Responds to customer complaints.

Education Required High School Diploma / GED
Education Preferred Associate’s Degree
Experience
3‑5 years industrial experience
License and Certification
Driver’s License required
