Machine Operation
Operate and control the carousel machinery according to established procedures. Monitor the movement of materials and products within the carousel system.
Material Handling
Load and unload materials onto the carousel, ensuring proper placement and balance. Organize materials efficiently to optimize the carousel's capacity.
Quality Control
Conduct visual inspections of materials to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance on the carousel machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the carousel. Conduct regular safety checks on the equipment and report any safety hazards.
Communication
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Coordinate with material handlers, production planners, and other relevant staff.
Efficiency and Productivity
Ensure the efficient movement of materials within the production facility. Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of materials loaded onto the carousel and their destinations. Complete production reports and documentation as required.
Training and Assistance
Assist in training new team members on carousel operation and safety procedures. Provide support and guidance to less experienced operators.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement in carousel operations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement enhancements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience operating carousel machinery in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial machinery. Ability to lift and handle materials in a physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication and problem‑solving skills. Seniority Level
