Materials Coordinator – Semiconductor
Northeast Austin, Texas
18 month contract with benefits offered
Potential Hours and Shifts
6 am to 2:30 pm
3 pm to 11:30 pm
10 pm to 6 pm
Key Responsibilities
Prioritize daily store activities and perform satellite receiving functions.
Conduct cycle counts, verify inventory, and audit materials for shipment.
Receive parts, update inventory records or shortage reports, and process transactions in SAP or other systems.
Verify vendor deliveries and maintain shortage reports, including review of work orders.
Coordinate processing of non‑conformances and prepare material for delivery to the cleanroom.
Prevent accumulation of excess material; replenish line‑side bins and regulate material movement to the manufacturing floor.
Execute stock purging, rework, transfer, or scrap of excess and obsolete items as directed.
Other Requirements Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting. The role may involve operating hand and power tools, forklifts, and heavy machinery. Clean‑room PPE (coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields) may be required. The work environment may include moderate noise.
