What We Are Looking For The Packaging Operator’s responsibilities include inspecting and packaging terminally sterilized and aseptically produced pharmaceutical drugs in accordance with cGMP.

Your Role

Operate packaging equipment and adhere to all applicable SOPs, cGMPs, etc.

Operate equipment within validated parameters.

Perform 100% final inspection of units.

Label and package acceptable units.

Maintain documentation records and accountability of solution and units throughout production.

Check and verify components.

Perform quality control duties, e.g., sampling of product and environment.

Clean/sanitize production and warehouse areas and equipment.

Reduce product losses and improve yields.

Ensure product quality.

Monitor process and document measurements per SOP.

Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, cGMPs.

Participate in all safety aspects of the plant.

Demonstrate initiative, self‑direction, and decision‑making.

Support company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Department Specific / Non‑Essential Functions

Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures to eliminate unreasonable risk to health and the environment.

Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities, and conditions presenting unreasonable health and/or environmental risk.

Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.

Special projects: training required for returned goods, reclaim and off‑line projects.

Adhere to SOPs in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and apply Good Manufacturing Practices.

Complete required training/certification program.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your Background

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

1‑3 years pharmaceutical experience within a sterile environment (5E or similar).

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Good math and reading skills.

Good verbal and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

Continuous lifting of 50‑55 lbs. and operation of electric jacks.

Standing or sitting required for extended periods.

Cognitive Requirements

Work both on a team and individually.

High manual dexterity under restrictive conditions.

Think logically and make sound decisions from available information.

Accuracy of mental and visual processing to produce quality product.
