Lead Scheduler – Kokosing

Job Overview The Lead Scheduler will be based at our corporate office in Westerville, Ohio, supporting our estimating team with detailed construction schedules that provide accurate sequences and durations for project estimates. The role requires independent creation of high‑level master schedules and coaching of operations staff on scheduling standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Develop front‑end schedules for current estimating pursuits and understand project specifications.
Create and update project schedules, ensuring construction projects are completed on time.
Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements and specifications.
Participate in estimating and project meetings, providing scheduling input, recommendations, and value‑engineering advice.
Prepare and present project schedules and narratives to clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical scheduling support for defending claims on active projects.
Identify and manage potential risks, developing contingency plans.
Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) as required.
Instruct and coach project schedulers in best practices.
Travel to project sites intermittently (5‑10%).
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud and/or Primavera P6.
Experience with USACE and DOD schedule specifications a plus.
Prior experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work in concert with estimators, project team members, subcontractors, engineers, contracting partners, and clients.
