Senior Conveyance Project Manager – Jacobs
Join Jacobs as a Senior Conveyance Project Manager to support delivering world‑class water and wastewater conveyance projects for our agricultural and municipal clients. You’ll lead a team of highly qualified engineers through the design process, interact directly with clients to develop and deliver technical solutions, and mentor ambitious mid‑level engineers.
Responsibilities
Lead project teams throughout all phases of planning, execution, and close‑out.
Manage scheduling, cost control, design review, and client communications.
Act as a technical liaison between project owners and design teams while pursuing new business opportunities.
Mentor and grow staff, establish client rapport, and support acquisition of new projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Demonstrated track record of delivering multiple conveyance‑related water or wastewater projects.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
Licensed Utah Professional Engineer (or other state P.E. with commitment to obtain within one year).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience serving various clients in conveyance pipeline design, pump station design, and wastewater treatment.
Strong business development, interpersonal, and networking skills.
Comfortable working collaboratively and independently.
Location & Compensation Location: Houston, TX
Base salary range: $119,800 to $187,250 per year. Individual pay is determined by work location, experience, and relevant education.
