Job Description
All hourly store team members are required to perform a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily; training provided.
Manage communication with customers and co‑workers, both verbally and in writing.
Accurately calculate and provide correct monetary change.
Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
Stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 lb, carry trays, push/pull on dollies, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and crouch as required.
Reach and handle equipment and supplies up to 72” and below.
Manipulate hands for tasks such as shaping dough, using pizza peel, cutting, and assembling boxes.
Use tools such as computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and peel.
Qualifications Motor coordination, numerical ability, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work safely in a hot, dusty, and sometimes adverse environment.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather, temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Driver/Store Management Duties (if applicable)
Deliver product by car to customer doors; deliver flyers and door hangers.
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Use company‑insured vehicle for deliveries.
Navigate adverse terrain within the delivery area.
Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs.
Deliver multiple orders per shift.
Essential Skills
Reading maps and locating addresses within a delivery zone.
Driving skills, including day and night vision.
Driving within five or more flights of stairs when required.
