Role Summary The Strategic Marketing Partner II is a seasoned strategist embedded within specific business units. The role leads the development, execution, and analysis of product strategies, initiatives, and planning, translating insights into actionable, integrated marketing plans that align with business goals and member needs.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with assigned business unit leaders to understand strategic priorities and opportunities.

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support business objectives and member satisfaction.

Lead cross‑functional collaboration with product, digital, operations, and member experience teams for cohesive marketing execution.

Conduct marketing research and analysis to uncover audience insights and competitive dynamics, and use data to inform campaigns and project timelines.

Monitor campaign performance across all channels and markets, evaluate results, and set goals for future campaigns with reporting and optimization recommendations.

Partner with marketing analytics to ensure strategies are data‑driven and performance metrics are robust.

Represent marketing in business unit planning sessions and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Support the AVP in aligning unit marketing efforts with credit union marketing goals and standards.

Perform regular SWOT analyses and make recommendations on product positioning, pricing, and potential changes.

Maintain awareness of economic, regulatory, and competitive influences affecting product lines and markets.

Develop comprehensive marketing plans and calendars for assigned products and services.

Manage projects with minimal supervision, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.

Produce and maintain reporting statistics for ongoing status updates to stakeholders.

Assist with allocation of marketing department resources and coordination of production and campaign execution.

Coordinate media placements and vendor relationships; serve as point of contact for vendors.

Collaborate with internal communications to keep staff aware of marketing activities.

Understand and perform applicable Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions.

Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, and seminars as approved; stay current on policies and regulations.

Maintain thorough knowledge of the credit union’s structure, goals, and core values.

Demonstrate leadership values of respect, honesty, trust, and integrity; act in the best interest of the credit union.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all sensitive data.

Control risk and operate safely within all assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

Four‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.

Minimum five years of experience in marketing strategy, planning, or analytics.

Experience working within or alongside business units to drive marketing outcomes.

Proven success in developing go‑to‑market strategies and integrated campaigns.

Strong research, analytical, and data‑analysis skills, with the ability to make informed recommendations.

Proficiency with standard office software and both Mac and Windows environments.

Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools preferred.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment.

Some travel required for training, duties, and professional development.

Initiative in workflow management and relationship building with partners and vendors.

Salary Range (Richland, WA) $32.76 – $49.14 per hour

Salary Range (Lynnwood, WA) $35.81 – $53.71 per hour

Salary Range (Renton, WA) $38.41 – $57.62 per hour

Salary Range (Spokane, WA) $31.75 – $47.62 per hour

Most new members start between the minimum and midpoint based on experience and qualifications; there is room to grow with tenure.
