What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit, maintaining awareness of the environment in a government setting.

Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift as required by Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.

Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and the public within the government location.

Minimum Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
