Job Description Security Officer - Unarmed Media Patrol

– Serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behaviour.
Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns according to established protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security‑related matters and incident reporting.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuation procedures when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
