Role Overview We are seeking an Asset Management & Inventory Systems Manager to join our team in the Secaucus Warehouse. The role oversees all asset tracking, inventory controls, and system governance using the SnapTracker asset management platform, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reporting of both client‑owned and company‑owned assets across warehouses, project sites, and installation locations.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the system owner and subject‑matter expert for SnapTracker; define system standards, workflows, and data governance practices
Oversee asset setup, tagging, barcoding, location logic, and lifecycle rules; manage user permissions, training, and adherence to SnapTracker protocols
Lead all asset tracking activities from receiving through final disposition; ensure accurate visibility across warehouse storage, staging, transit, and client locations
Oversee cycle counts, full physical inventories, and client asset validations; investigate and resolve asset discrepancies, shortages, or data integrity issues
Manage and mentor asset coordinators, inventory staff, or warehouse team members involved in scanning and tracking
Partner with warehouse operations, project management, delivery, and installation teams to ensure compliance at all asset touchpoints; act as the escalation point for asset‑related issues on active projects
Produce and review SnapTracker reports including asset utilization, aging, shrink, and project close‑out summaries; support client reporting requirements, audits, and asset reconciliations
Present asset status and risk insights to internal leadership and clients as needed
Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for asset tracking, scanning, and reconciliation; identify process gaps and implement improvements to reduce asset loss and manual work
Support integrations or data exchanges between SnapTracker and WMS, ERP, or project systems; ensure asset management practices align with contractual and compliance requirements
Qualifications Required Qualifications
5+ years of asset management or inventory control experience, with direct SnapTracker platform experience
Prior experience in a manager or lead role overseeing inventory, assets, or warehouse systems
Background in contract furniture, FF&E, logistics, warehousing, or commercial installations
Strong data and reporting skills (Excel required)
Proven ability to build process discipline and accountability across teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing large, multi‑client or multi‑site asset portfolios
Familiarity with warehouse operations, delivery, and installation workflows
Experience supporting client audits or financial asset controls
Exposure to KPI dashboards, shrink analysis, and utilization reporting
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Asset inventory accuracy (% variance)
Asset loss/shrink rate
On‑time and accurate project asset close‑outs
Compliance with scanning and SOP adherence
Client audit findings and discrepancy resolution time
