A Snapshot of Your Day As a member of the Long Term Program (LTP) Sales team, a typical day can vary from supporting the New Unit Sales team with service information to support selection of Siemens Energy gas turbine equipment, preparing customer offers, to meeting with customers and negotiating service program contracts. In this role, you will be interfacing with a number of internal departments ranging from legal, engineering, finance, and project management.
How You'll Make An Impact This Long Term Program (LTP) Sales Professional role is within the Gas Services Sales Distributed organization and will be focused on supporting gas turbine service program growth targets in North America. This person would have the responsibility to identify and capture service program opportunities while working closely with the applicable product lines and New Unit sales teams to build partnerships with our key customers in North America.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for the identification and capture of gas turbine service program business through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and grow a qualified sales funnel to meet service program sales targets in the region
Lead the preparation of formal bids and proposals and present to management through the LoA process
Lead a cross‑functional team in customer contract negotiations
What You Bring
College degree qualified in engineering and/or business discipline, or similar experience.
5+ years of experience in developing and driving sales projects to closure, including direct customer interactions
Strong understanding of relevant market and business knowledge, competent in market analysis, competition analysis, risk analysis, and life cycle cost analysis.
Product knowledge of Siemens Energy or other OEM gas turbine portfolio and its associated equipment
Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills to both internal and external customers
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
About The Team Our Gas Services division offers low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
