Job Summary and Responsibilities CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Wound Ostomy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospital‑employed group.

About the Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities -
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, and diagnose and treat chronic diseases within protocol guidelines.
Treatment & Management: Order diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend medications, and assist with wound clinic procedures.
Patient Education & Support: Promote positive lifestyle habits through education and counseling, and provide follow‑up care to monitor patient progress.
Collaboration & Efficiency: Work closely with wound center nurses and providers to ensure efficient patient flow and assist with inpatient wound consults.
Professional Conduct: Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and consult with doctors as needed for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Master's degree in nursing or Graduate of a Physician Assistant training Program
Required Licensure and Certifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner, Certificate of fitness through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Licensed as an RN in the state of TN, and Licensed as a CRNP in state of TN, required, or State PA License required
AHA BLS required
