Position Overview
Postdoctoral Scholar – Pediatrics
The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar in cancer biology. The research focus is on the role and mechanisms of RNA‑binding proteins in tumor development and progression.
Research Focus Study of RNA‑binding proteins and their contribution to tumor biology, with an emphasis on mechanisms that drive cancer progression.
Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or related field.
Strong background in signal transduction, cell biology, and especially cancer immunology or related disciplines.
Demonstrated scientific productivity and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to conduct independent research.
