Fox 2 News is looking for a dynamic, driven
Evening Executive Producer who thrives in a fast‑paced news environment and is passionate about mentoring and storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who can lead with urgency during breaking news while fostering growth and creativity among producers and reporters.
What We’re Looking For:
A strong editorial leader with a passion for local news and impactful storytelling
A mentor who enjoys coaching producers and reporters to elevate their craft
A strategic thinker who can manage content across platforms
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years as a line producer; prior Executive Producer experience strongly preferred
Availability for a typical nightside, Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility as news demands
Key Responsibilities:
Guide editorial decisions during breaking news and daily coverage
Coach and develop producers to build compelling, viewer-focused newscasts
Review rundowns and scripts for editorial strength, grammar, and formatting
Collaborate with reporters and assignment desk to coordinate story coverage.
Edit and refine digital content for accuracy and engagement
Support long‑term project planning and execution
Participate in weekend on‑call manager rotation
Identify opportunities to amplify broadcast content across digital and social platforms
Partner with News Director and Digital EP to drive cross‑platform content strategies
