JR-40102454As an Accounting Analyst Jr you will support the finance team by preparing basic financial reports, analyzing accounting data, and helping reconcile accounts. They assist with daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate and organized financial records.**What You’ll Do:*** Prepare the reconciliation accounts, analyze differences and add the support documentation.* Registration of journal entries during the month and in the month-end closing process.* Prepare the month-end closing activities to transmit accurate financials in accordance with the Regional and Corporate deadlines.* Research and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts in accordance with company policies* Prepare the Final Cost determination.* Give support to all the areas of the company, giving the information required in time.**What We’re Looking For:*** Degree with a concentration in a business related field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.).* Minimum 1 year experience in Finance internship program.* Experience working with multi-national corporations is desired.* Strong knowledge of both local and US GAAP accounting rules.* Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data and issues and proactively develop solutions.* Basic in English (oral and written)**What Will Set You Apart:*** Track record of achieving measurable business objectives.* Thorough understanding of local GAAP/IFRS and U.S. GAAP, accounting for complex transactions and internal controls in compliance with SOX.* Strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system (SAP preferred), MS Office products,) as applicable to the country.* Experienced in building Finance team, developing talent for the organization as evidenced by advancement and success of team members.**Additional Details*** Sponsorship Available: No.* Relocation Support: No.#LI-AP3Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
