The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Common Hope’s fundraising events and outreach activities. This role supports the organization’s development goals by engaging the community, enhancing visibility, cultivating partnerships, and generating revenue through strategic events and outreach efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event planning (preferably in a nonprofit environment).

Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel domestically as required.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.

Proficiency in vendor management and logistics coordination.

Skilled in budget preparation and monitoring.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Team-oriented with the ability to lead volunteers and temporary staff.
