Content Marketing Specialist - Giants Ridge
Compensation: $19.23 – $21.63 per hour (based on experience). The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing high‑quality, strategic visual content that strengthens Giants Ridge brand visibility and fuels the digital marketing ecosystem. The role covers photo and video asset production, content calendar management, and support of paid and organic channels across all seasons.
Essential Functions
Capture high‑quality photo and video content that highlights Giants Ridge four‑season experiences.
Create visual storytelling that supports brand awareness initiatives and showcases the resort’s signature activities including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golf, events, and scenic recreation.
Produce content for paid social campaigns, organic social posts, email marketing, the resort website, blog posts, and digital ads.
Ensure all content aligns with marketing strategies, messaging priorities, and seasonal needs.
Manage the content calendar and ensure a continuous flow of assets tied to seasonality, events, conditions, and business priorities.
Coordinate with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure timely publishing, distribution, and accurate deployment across platforms.
Participate in on‑hill and on‑trail activities to capture real and authentic guest experiences and produce dynamic, engaging content.
Create optimized assets that improve ad performance across paid channels.
Build and organize a structured library of evergreen content for year‑round marketing use.
Develop platform‑specific content that enhances reach, relevance, and engagement.
Capture pre‑event, live event, and post‑event content for major signature events and on‑site activations.
Maintain strong relationships across departments to ensure accurate and timely storytelling.
Maintain content creation equipment including cameras, memory cards, lenses, audio tools, and accessories.
Recommend updates or replacements that support high‑quality content production.
Qualifications
Strong photography and videography skills with an understanding of composition, lighting, and motion.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop.
Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously and meet production timelines.
Strong visual storytelling skills and understanding of content trends across social and digital platforms.
Ability to edit both short‑form and long‑form video content.
Comfort participating in outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and golf while capturing content.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a small, fast‑paced team environment.
Experience with digital marketing ecosystems including paid social, email, and website content is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
Carry and transport camera equipment and marketing materials.
Available Tue‑Sat during in‑season periods (Nov–Mar and May–Oct); occasional evenings and holiday work may be required during peak periods and events.
Equipment Used
Professional cameras, lenses, tripods, microphones, and stabilizers.
Lighting and audio equipment for interviews and controlled shoots.
Adobe Creative Suite and related editing software.
Drone certification (Part 107) or ability to obtain one.
Standard computer equipment and storage tools for large media files.
