Job Summary As a Security Officer – Armed CRE Patrol in Houston, TX, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout a commercial real estate location to help deter security‑related incidents, while providing exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances or unwanted behavior at the commercial real estate location.
Interact professionally with visitors, tenants, and/or employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Assist with access control and verify credentials as required by site procedures.
Complete detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and/or interventions during patrols.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
